Apulian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
It is derived from the following varieties: :
Ogliarola,Cellina di Nardò, Pecholin, Leccino, Carolea and Frantoio.
Extra virgin olive oil Features:
At Masseria Caliandro we only produce olive oil from organic farming, but in compliance with current standards, the olives harvested from neighboring trees cannot not be considered as organic, because they are probably contaminated with products used by neighbors. From these olives, basically untreated, turns out our Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.
Superior Apulian Extra virgin olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means by cold pressing from Masseria Caliandro.
Olives picked up from the tree and not let fall to the ground – that guarantees to the EVO oil organoleptic properties far higher than normal.
Due to a self production process, olives are hand-picked and cold-pressed by mill within 24 hours to keep fresh flavors and smells.
From deep green to straw yellow and a fruity but not spicy flavor with low acidity, Masseria Caliandro’s olive oil is not filtered but decanted by gravity into stainless steel containers to be packaged in cans or bottles only at your order.
